BS Block dryer for wood chips                                        (Datasheet)  

Fluidní šušárna The purpose of our device is drying wood chips for energy purposes, to increase its calorific value, while using of the low-potential waste heat. The drying line output can be designed in a large power range, depending on customer´s requirements, i.e. from tens kilograms up to tens of tons per hour.

Line controls the control system with PLC so as to minimize maintenance. At the same time, the operator has access to accurate information about the operational status of the whole complex.

Dryers don´t matter the large portion of the dried material, but they may not be achieved the desired final humidity. Dryers are immune to the admixture in the form of stones, metal parts and so on. Typical input humidity content is 50%, typical output humidity is 10%. 

Dryer is a compact construction, laying of the hoppers is possible with redler, conveyor, belt conveyor, wheel loader or a dispensing container. Speed of rake conveyor to the dried mass can be regulated within wide limits. Drying medium (hot air, flue gas boiler exhaust, gases of the engine) is supplied to the pressure chambers placed always under the drying surface and the perforated floor is equally distributed to the dried fuel. Air saturated with humidity exits from the dryer at a very low speed, so that it is not entrained dust from the dried material. For this reason, the filtration of (saturated) vapor is not necessary, which is a great advantage. 

Maximum concentration of particulate matter contained in the freely leaving vapor is below 1 mg/m3

Advantages of block dryers against tumble dryers:

  • no danger of ignition
  • lower consumption of heat for drying
  • utilize heat at low temperature has been in the range of 60-90°C againts tumble dryers needing the drying medium temperatures up to 380°C
  • mechanical drive is required only 20% of electric energy

Our drying technology is industrially protected.  

Delivery time is about 3-4 months, depending on the type and size of the dryer.                                       As a part of delivery can be also these accessories: silo with displaceable floors, transportation paths, sorters. etc.
